President and Director
Jim has over 30 years international business development and project management experience in the mineral exploration, consulting and engineering industries with a focus on Arctic projects. He has held senior positions with engineering firms AMEC and Bateman. He was Co-Founder of Mongolian exploration company QGX Ltd., which was acquired for $300 million in 2008. He served as the Honourary Consul for Mongolia for eight years. He obtained a Bachelor of Science (Geology) from the University of Western Ontario.
Chief Operating Officer
Ken has over 20 years of experience in open-pit mines. He was previously with Polaris Materials Corporation, a TSX listed company, from 2007 to 2018, where he was Vice President Operations responsible for the mining and mineral processing operations, together with the company’s Pacific coastal port distribution terminals that were supplied using ocean-going Panamax bulk carriers. From 2015 onward, Ken served as President and CEO of Polaris. Ken has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University.
Jerry has extensive knowledge in design, operation, management, and optimization of industrial minerals facilities with a focus on paints and specialized mineral applications. Jerry began his industrial mineral career at the Nephton Nepheline Syenite operation in Ontario, which produces a product similar to Hudson’s GreenSpar45 product. Jerry was manager of the operation during a period of major capital expansion. He has diplomas in geology and mineral processing from Sir Sandford Fleming College School of Natural Resources in Lindsay, Ontario.
